As she has now received an education from Frank she is confident enough to answer questions, have discussions and talk to the other students but the most important thing to her is that she was able to pass the exam and she had choice. This is where the change in Rita begins.

This is entertaining because Rita thinks she is very clever. Despite the huge argument in scene 5 there is still a bond connecting Frank and Rita together in the play. This is the reason she decides to enrol herself into an Open University course where she meets Frank. I think at this point in the play, Rita is just starting understand things a bit more.
